Geronimo, aka Big G, worked for Blue Sky as a trail horse from 2009 to 2015.

In 2015, Big G was diagnosed with ringbone and was unable to do his job anymore. Ringbone is an abnormal bone growth in the pastern or coffin joint of horses or osteoarthritis in the joints.

Big G has lived under the care of the foundation ever since this diagnosis and receives very tailored medical care from our Blue Sky veterinarian and podiatry team. G enjoys many carrots and afternoon naps in the sun.
