  • Gracie, our namesake horse, is the horse that Barb saved from the original neglect case that catapulted her into the world of animal rescue.

  • That depends. The large majority of the animals that we take in will be residents for the duration of their lives. Most rescues come with emotional and physical limitations that the average horse owner cannot accommodate. In some special situations, we have re-homed horses to owner’s whose values aligned with our own and we were certain they were the right fit.

  • Sponsoring a horse is one of the greatest gifts you can give. The annual cost of caring for a horse can be anywhere from $10,000 to $20,000 and even more if the horse has a health event. As a horse sponsor, you will receive a certificate in the mail and we can also provide updates on your sponsored animal.
