Grace and her baby, Breyer were rescued originally by the Salt River Wild Horse Management Group in Arizona. Grace had been abandoned and was found in a large ravine during a rain storm. After being brought to safety, she gave birth to a colt. The SRWHMG contacted Saving Gracie, because they were not equipped to care for a thoroughbred horse and her baby. We don’t know much about Grace, but we do know that she raced at some point in her life. She was given lots of love and rehab when she arrived and is now receiving some training to keep her active and engaged.
