Holly was rescued in August of 2024 after we learned of her condition. Holly was being boarded at a facility by her elderly owners. Unfortunately, at the location, Holly was found more than once in dangerous and neglectful situations by the daughter of the horse's owner. This woman was eventually able to get Holly to a different boarding facility, where she was at least safe, but still in less than ideal health. The owners wanted to euthanize Holly and that is when we were contacted and stepped in. We were told that Holly is about 27 but we think she may be even older than that. We have been able to get Holly all she needs to get healthy and live out the rest of her years with us here at Gracie’s.
