Paris & Wind, Wind & Paris. We cannot tell the story of these two horses separately. They have spent every minute of their life with each other since they came to Saving Gracie’s.

Paris and Wind were racehorses in Kentucky. They were rescued together when they both needed to leave the sport. When you rescue, the horse's history is rarely available, so in this case, we aren’t sure exactly what their life was like. The story we were told is that Wind was injured on the track, and it was career-ending for him. Paris was just not fast enough to stay in the game. This is all the history we know about these two OTTBs.

They are both relatively healthy. Over the years, they have received some training and have been ridden. They both tend to be a little bit accident-prone and have had some silly accidents—Paris getting into porcupines, Wind stepping on a nail. This bonded pair will always stay together, and we continue to provide them with the love and care they so deserve.
