Powerhouse has been with us since 2012, several years before we officially started our horse rescue.

At that time, we didn’t realize what was going on at the place where he came from. It wasn’t until years later that it was revealed that the people we got him from were abusive and neglectful. Powerhouse worked for approximately 6 years at Blue Sky, and when his arthritis got bad, he retired and came to The Saving Gracie Foundation.

It seems obvious that Powerhouse lacked good care, and now, in addition to his arthritis, he has had to have many teeth removed, so he can’t eat hay anymore. He gets yummy mashes every day and gets lots of attention.

This sweet senior guy would love to have a sponsor come to visit him.
